A global guide to stegosaur discovery, classification, major genera, changing reconstructions, fossil sites, evolutionary patterns, and unanswered questions.

Explore stegosaur anatomy from skull to tail, including armor growth, feeding mechanics, locomotion, defense, diversity, and the evidence behind modern reconstructions.

Meet the plated plant-eaters called stegosaurs and learn how their plates, tail spikes, teeth, fossils, and family tree reveal the way they lived.
